Rupert Lowe (Non-executive Chairman)
Rupert was previously a Director of LIFFE and Chairman of Southampton Leisure Holdings plc. He is currently Chairman of The Prince’s Trust (South East), and is also Director of Lowe Holdings Limited and Jubilee Insurance Limited. Rupert has gained significant financial services experience with Phillips and Drew (now part of UBS), Deutsche Bank, Barings and Morgan Grenfell. |

Roger Lane-Smith (Non-executive Director)
Roger is non-executive Chairman of JJB Sports. He was Senior Partner and Chairman of DLA Piper Rudnick UK from 1998 to 2005 and was appointed a Senior Consultant to the practice in May 2005. He is also a Non-executive Director of MS International, Dolphin Capital Investors, Timpsons and a number of other non-quoted companies. |

Lord Jonathan Marland (Non-executive Director)
Jonathan was one of the principals involved in building Lloyd Thompson Ltd and a founding board member of Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc. He founded Herriot Ltd and Jubilee (Insurance) Ltd. He is chairman of Janspeed Ltd, director of Hunter Boot Ltd and Insurance Capital Partners LLP, as well as being a non-executive director of Clareville Capital Partners LLP.
Jonathan has a series of charitable interests and commitments. He is chairman and founder of The Sport Nexus, chairman of the Harnham Water Meadows Trust, and trustee of Atlantic Partnership, Guggenheim UK Charitable Trust and Invercauld Estate.
Jonathan is married to Penny, a probation officer, and they have four children.
He was made a life peer in 2006. |

John M F Padovan FCA (Non-executive Director)
John qualified as a Chartered Account with PriceWaterhouse & Co before moving to County Bank, the merchant banking division of National Westminster Group, in 1970. After progressing to Chairman of County Bank, John moved to become Deputy Chairman of Hambros Bank before moving in 1986 to Barclays de Zoete Wedd as Deputy Chairman. John has also been appointed a Director or Chairman of various companies including Tesco, Whitbread, AAH and Findel. |

Roland Rudd (Non-executive Director)
Roland Rudd is the Senior Partner of Finsbury, which was acquired by WPP in June 2001. Before founding Finsbury in 1994, he worked as a financial journalist at the Financial Times. He was previously Managing Editor (Business) of The Sunday Correspondent, which he joined from The Times where he was Industrial Correspondent. He is a former policy coordinator for Lord Owen, and President of the Union at Oxford University, where he read philosophy and theology. He is a patron and Chairman of NSPCC's Stop Organised Abuse, an ambassador for Seeability, Chairman of the Tate's Corporate advisory body and on the board of the Royal Opera House Development Committee. A former board member of Britain in Europe, he is the founding Chairman of Business for New Europe.

Laurie Beevers BSc (Hons) FSI (Chief Executive)
Laurie read economics and politics at Bristol University and commenced a stockbroking career in 1972, eventually moving to Manchester and becoming a partner in Charlton Seal Dimmock. He joined WH Ireland as Chief Executive in May 1995. His areas of investment specialisation include smaller companies both in the UK and Australia and for a number of years he was a Director of a number of listed Australian companies. |

David W Youngman MSc ASIP FSI (Managing Director)
David began his stockbroking career with Charlton Seal Dimmock & Co. in October 1975. He became a partner of the same firm in 1980 and was appointed Investment Research Director upon incorporation in 1987. Upon the acquisition of Charlton Seal by the Benchmark Group he was appointed a main board Director of Benchmark and Chief Operating Officer of Charlton Seal. In May 1995 he joined WH Ireland Limited with Laurie Beevers and is currently Managing Director with specific responsibility for corporate finance. |

In his early career Richard worked in two stockbrokers in the corporate finance and research departments. He is a Non-executive Director of Ultimate Finance and Freedom Finance. He is the Group Director responsible for corporate development and is the Executive Chairman of WH Ireland Limited. |

Michael A Frame BCOM (ACC) FCA FSI (Company Secretary)
Michael is a graduate of the of Birmingham and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 with Touche Ross. He joined WH Ireland in March 2000 and was appointed Compliance Director in September of that year. He is also a Board member of the Securities Industry Management Association. Michael was appointed Group Company Secretary in September 2005 and is Managing Director of WH Ireland Limited. |
